A perfect location for an enjoyable getaway! The Beach House; a relaxing, private setting for family recreation, our home offers gorgeous views of Kootenay Lake and surrounding mountains. The modern layout, Egyptian cotton bed sheets and gas fireplaces on two floors of spacious living space will appeal to the upscale vacationer. The Beach House is situated on the north shore of Kootenay Lake, a 10-minute scenic drive from the historic town of Nelson, British Columbia. The Beach House can be enjoyed any season of the year! Some of the local attractions include: outdoor activities such as hiking, both road and mountain biking, rock climbing, world class golfing in Nelson, Balfour and Kootenay Bay, fishing, paddling, nordic skiing, unbelievable alpine skiing at both Whitewater and Red Mountain as well as many local backcountry and heliski operations, neighborhood tennis, basketball and soccer fields, canoe and kayak sales and rental, boat launch, general store, neighborhood pub, Ainsworth Hot springs, Kokanee Provincial Park, Kokanee Glacier, and the Kokanee Marina. The Beach House is a luxurious vacation home on a 1/2 acre waterfront property with ample room for larger parties. The home is fully furnished. There are three bedrooms with king, queen and two bunk beds (4 beds). The family room has a sofa bed. The private deck overlooking Kootenay Lake is supplied with a barbecue and deck furniture for relaxing after a day at our private beach.
